This room is so cute, and I think what makes it attractive to me is that it is so simple.

The colors in this one make such a sweet impression, and the vintage accessories are similar to the look I like.

Here's a twin bed. If I get a plain bed frame instead of the wrought iron one, I could put mine under the window in my room and free up a lot of visual space. I wish I had a little nook with a window like this bedroom...

I mainly want to create a space that is cozy and welcoming. I spend more time in my room than I used to since I have a roommate now. (who by the way is so sweet, she makes having a roommate so great. I know you're prob not reading this Blair, but if you are, I love ya!! )
I was thinking about trying to find an inexpensive option for a bigger bed, because I sit on my bed to coupon, to watch tv- basically whenever I"m in my room and not sleeping.
I was also thinking about making a cover for Brody's crate or tucking it under a table so it isn't so obvious. I think it makes my room look messy.
I have large scale gallery wall decor, and fabric curtain ideas floating around in my head, but Ive been hesitant to hang anything up since I'm not happy with the furniture arrangement yet.
So many things I could do...
Suzanna, I seem to not have a lot of options in my rooms as well...our bedroom is large since we remodeled and removed a wall , combining two bedrooms into one. But I can't really arrange the furniture in the living room in a pleasing way...too narrow. I also hate clutter and have way too much.
ReplyDeleteHave you seen those ADORABLE combo-kennel-side tables?? I wish my dogs were smaller cause I would definitely get one of those. Some of them have a kennel door and the sides and door are made with decorative metals/mesh that can be found at the local hardware store. It is such a great space-saver idea for pet lovers. I love multi-purpose stuff like that!!
ReplyDeleteHi Suzanne, I found you through Jo and Lana...I'm another Addison Gal. I love all those rooms and the yummy dreamy colors! I am trying to pick a new color for my bedroom, I am so indecisive, it will take me forever. I like your blog, and I'll be back.

All of the rooms look so cozy!
ReplyDeleteSuzanna, I'll have to take a picture of my oldes daughter's bedroom here at my house, well, she's moved out so it's also the "guest" room, but it has a lot of those colors in the pictures you have and everyone says it is their favorite room, kind of like a bed and breakfast feel. I always crack up because I think to myself, Yes, it's the room that is tucked away and gets to stay perfect with CREAM bedspreads since the dogs are not allowed in there. Anyway, I think you'll love it. I'll try to get a picture posted this coming week.
